My Mum’s Writing Desk

Today I sit proudly at my mum’s writing desk. This was a central piece in our home growing up and I vividly remember my mum spending hours sat either writing or studying at her desk.

When she passed away she kindly left me this beautiful piece of antique furniture which has sat in my sisters garage for over ten years, as I did not have the room in my place. Now I live with David, I do have the room and what a joy it is to be sat here typing my blog and doing my work, just as my mum had done previously to me.

Today I want you to think about something which you have been left by a loved one and how it has impacted on your life? This can be anything which had a significant affect on you when you lost your loved one and please share with me? I would love to hear from you.
